Damion V. Bolton Bio
Damion V. Bolton
Born on March 15, 1980 to James H. Bolton and Wanda K. Warren, Damion V. Bolton was one of several siblings to grow up in Lucedale, Mississippi—population 2,923 just 45 minutes south of Hattiesburg. From the time he was a youngster until his early 20’s, Damion suffered from chronic depression and yet he overcame his condition by realizing that he had to think positive thoughts to beat depression. He graduated from George County High School, named for the county seat of George County, and then went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX, where he also earned his master’s in International Business.
Bolton joined the U.S. Army serving in Honduras before being informed in May 2011 that he would be stationed in Colorado Springs, Colorado. A Staff Sergeant/Petroleum Supply, Bolton receives, maintains and distributes petroleum to those who need it at any time, whether in a combat zone, field training exercise or in garrison.
“My career in the U.S. Armed Forces has contributed in a major way to me running Think Big,” says Bolton. “It allows me to take those same principles and apply them to my company. As I’ve taught my Soldiers, I vow to teach the youth of America not to receive, maintain and distribute petroleum, but information. Information is the petroleum of life and no one can move forward without it.”
Bolton is enrolled in Walden University where he is earning his doctorate in organizational development and leadership.
